Automatic Weather Station (AWS) Commissioning

The project focused on the supply, delivery, installation, testing, and commissioning of a fully automated Automatic Weather Station (AWS) at Dhorpatan for continuous meteorological data collection to support hydrological analysis, reservoir planning, engineering design, and climate assessment for the Uttarganga Storage Hydroelectric Project. The system includes advanced sensors and infrastructure such as rainfall measurement, temperature and humidity monitoring, wind and solar radiation sensors, snow depth measurement, data logging, solar power system, telemetry communication, and a cloud-based data platform, enabling real-time, reliable, and continuous weather data transmission from the high-altitude site.
