Smart Water Management Workshop Organized at Attariya

On April 30th 2023, Diyalo Technologies Pvt. Ltd. organized an event at Namaste Hotel located at Attariya, Kailali aimed at promoting the solution of smart water management in the water utility sector after successful events in Kathmandu, Chitwan, Urlabari, Butwal, Bardibas and Ghorahi. The event was attended by 200+ participants from 70+ Water Supply User Committees (WSUC).

The event was attended by several notable guests. Their presence highlighted the importance of promoting technology and innovation in the water sector, and the need to work together to build a more sustainable and resilient future.

Speakers highlighted how technology may help to improve it to automate operations, create efficiency and ensure the access of clean water during the conference’s discussions and presentations on a variety of topics, including pump automation, non-revenue water management, water quality, customer relationship management, its issues and effects.

The speakers shared their experiences with implementing technology in their operations and discussed the benefits and challenges of doing so. They also emphasized the importance of ensuring that technology is accessible and affordable for all, including smaller water utility communities and rural communities.

Diyalo showcased a range of IoT Solutions that can be used in the water utility sector, including smart flow meters and water quality sensors. These devices can help to monitor and manage water usage, as well as detect pollutants and other contaminants in water. By implementing these devices, water utility companies can improve their operations, reduce costs, and ensure that their customers have access to safe and clean water.
